Tapas Tour

What
Valencia has got a large offer of special, cosy tapas bars and tapas restaurants where you can eat delicious tapas. The only problem is to find these tapas bars, because a large number of special tapas bars is located just outside the (touristic) centre of Valencia. That’s why we organise tapas tours!
Since the moment we live in Valencia, we discovered some great and surprising tapas bars and we would love to show them to you during our tapas tour. During the tour, with an English speaking guide, we visit 3 different tapas bars. In every tapas bar you can enjoy a tapa and a drink (these are included in the price). If you would like to order more drinks/tapas you are free to do so, but it will be on your own account.

How
We will walk from one bar to another, because the different locations are close together. Meanwhile you can enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Where
During the tour we visit the most lovely tapas bars (where mainly Valencian people go to) in beautiful neighbourhoods of Valencia and meanwhile we enjoy delicious tapas and wines. General info about Valencia

Valencia is located in the “Communidad de Valencia” in the east of Spain. Valencia is the third city of Spain and is situated in the economical triangle of Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia).

If you are visiting Spain during your holiday, than it is definitely worth visiting Valencia. Valencia has got everything: a large and clean beach, a variety of shops, friendly people, great food (among others superb “Paella Valenciana”), different museums, ancient buildings, interesting markets, many sunny days and much more.

There are many events and celebrations in Valencia throughout the year, like “Three kings”, “Americans Cup”, “MTV winter festival”, “Fallas”, “Medieval festival”, “Formula 1”, “Andalusian festival” and many more.

In Valencia you can also find a large variety of accommodation possibilities. If you are looking for a camping, hotel, bed & breakfast, hostel or apartment, it’s all possible in and around Valencia in different price classes.

The “Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias” (the city of arts and sciences), the historical beautiful cathedral of Valencia and the “Mercado central” are really worth visiting.

Flamenco or Salsa workshop

What

Flamenco workshop
Flamenco is originally from the southern part of Spain, mainly the region Andalusia. Later on Flamenco danced its way to more provinces and regions in Spain. Probably different nations, among others the Moors, influenced the development of Flamenco. Besides Flamenco singing and music, there is also Flamenco dance. Flamenco is a quite complicated dance because of the various emotions that are expressed in this dance.
If you would like to get an impression of Flamenco dance you definitely should attend the Flamenco workshop.

Salsa workshop
Salsa find it’s origin in Cuba but today you can find people dancing Salsa in various countries all over the world. Nowadays Salsa dancing is very common in Spain. There are different types of Salsa dances, one of them is called the “Son”. During a Salsa workshop of Tours Valencia you will learn the basic steps of Salsa dancing. Besides learning the Salsa steps, you will have a lot of fun joining a dance workshop in Valencia.

Where
The meeting point is the entrance/exit of the metro/tram stop (subway station) Marítim Serreria. From this point we walk to the dance school in about 5 minutes.

Wine excursion in region Valencia

Do you like wine and would you like to have a look around at a Spanish Bodega in the region Valencia? On the Westside of the city Valencia you will find the wine region in the surroundings of Requena and Utiel. We will visit one of the most well-known bodegas in the province of Valencia.


What
The Bodega, which we will visit, is located in the wine region of Valencia close to Utiel and Requena on 1,5 hour driving from Valencia. The bus, which takes care of the transport to the bodega, will leave from a central meeting point in Valencia. At the bodega you will get a tour of an English speaking guide. First you will go through the wine fields, with a large variety of grapes, to see the old bodega and afterwards you will be able to have a look inside the modern bodega. Then follows a wine tasting and you will get an explanation of the wines and the production process. Finally you can enjoy a delicious lunch in a restaurant nearby the bodega.

Albufera excursion

Would you like to see the largest lake of Spain, with its surrounded rice fields? The region around the Albufera lake is the origin of the Paella. During an excursion to the Albufera national park you will be able to get an impression of the surroundings, see the rice fields and enjoy a delicious Valencian paella in a typical Valencian restaurant.

What
From a central point (or accommodation) we will go in bus direction Albufera, a nature park in the south of Valencia. In Albufera you can see the biggest lake of Spain, but this is also the region where many products come from that are used in the Valencian cuisine, like rice and eel. On arrival we make a boat trip on the Albufera lake, which is surrounded by rice fields and Barraca’s, typical Valencian houses. Afterwards you can enjoy a Paella Valenciana. After the lunch, we will go back by bus and the group will be dropped off at the central meeting point or accommodation.

During this workshop you will learn, by guidance of a photographer, how you can make even more beautiful pictures of a city than you already did.
