Global Champions Tour

The Global Champions Tour is a well known yearly horse jumping championship which takes place in various cities and countries as:

  • Hamburg, Germany from 16/05 – 20/05
  • Wiesbaden, Germany from 25/05 – 28/05
  • Cannes, France from 14/06 – 16/06
  • Monte-Carlo, Monaco from 28/06 – 30/06
  • Estoril, Portugal from 13/07 – 14/07
  • Chantilly, France from 20/07 – 22/07
  • Valkenswaard, Netherlands from 17/08 – 19/08
  • Lausanne, Switserland from 14/09 – 16/09
  • Vienna, Austria from 20/09 – 23/09
  • Shanghai, China from 04/10 – 06/10
  • Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates from 22/11 – 24/11

This event will, among other cities, be hosted for the fourth time in Valencia in Spain. The location of the Global Champions Tour will be, like last year, the “Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias”, or the City of Arts and Sciences, which is designed by Santiago Calatrava. Especially for this occasion the water/lake besides the Science museum will be converted into a sand box. This horse jumping event is spectacular, but the location is also impressive. If you would like to see where the rice for the authentic Paella Valenciana is coming from, this is your opportunity. During the Albufera excursion we visit the Albufera nature park, nearby Valencia. Furthermore we will make a boat trip on the Albufera lake. Around this lake you can see the rice fields, various birds and some beautiful views.
