29th of April – 8th of May: Feria Andaluza
This Andalusian festival takes place in the Turia park, between the Puente de Calatrava (Calatrava bridge) and the Puente de las Flores (Flower bridge). There will be typical Andalusian tapas, Flamenco performances and horse performances! The entrance is free!
6 th of May – Concert in the park
Friday the 6th of May a concert in the Turia park with performances of famous Spanish acts like: Efecto Mariposa, Melendi, Taxi and NQDC

Superbike World Championship in Valencia

Festival of Media in Valencia
The world’s first global festival related to media creativity and innovation is called the “Festival of Media”. The festival of media takes place from 18-20 april 2010 in the innovative city of Valencia. For already the 4th time will the festival of media be organised in Valencia. Global Champions Tour in Valencia
From 7-9 may 2010, the Global Champions Tour will take place in Valencia. The location of this exciting event will be the “Ciudad de las artes y Ciencias”, the City of Arts and Sciences. World’s best riders and 160 competition horses will participate in this event. The Global Champions Tour can be seen on television in more than 60 countries. Formula 1 Grand Prix in Valencia
If you would like to experience the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Valencia, in june 2010 the races will take place in the streets of Valencia. For only 50 euros you can already see the practice races on Friday 25th of june 2010.
On friday 25 of june and on saturday 26 of june 2010 the practice and qualification races will be held in the streets of Valencia. The main race will take place on sunday 27 of june 2010.

Tomatina in the region Valencia
At the end of august 2010 the yearly returning Tomatina festival in Buñol, region Valencia, will take place. During this festival/event, thousands of people will travel to Buñol to throw kilos of tomatoes to eachother.
Valencia open 500 2010
Between 30 october and 7 november 2010, the ATP world tour 500 2010 will take place in “Agora”. Agora is the newest building of the “Ciudad de las Artes y Ciencias”, the City of Arts and Sciences. The 18th edition of the MotoGP will take place in November 2010 in the city of Valencia.
