The “Monasterio de San Miguel”, or the Monastery of the holy Michael, was built in 1546 by Fernando of Aragon. Till 1879, this building was still in use as monastery, but in 1879, during the regime of Franco, it was used as prison. Nowadays it is in use as library and really worth visiting.
