The Ciudad de las Artes y de las Ciencias in Valencia is designed by Santiago Calatrava. Santiago Calatrava was born in 1951 in Valencia and is from origin architect. Besides the CAC he has designed many other famous buildings, bridges and monuments all around the world, for example the York-shadow machine in New York. Behind the elements of the CAC are various stories and ideas and by joining this guided tour you will see and maybe value these buildings in a different way.
During this tour you will discover for example why Calatrava has chosen for some specific colours, why the “eye” only blinks once in a while and much more.
