Valencia FC

FC Valencia is a football club in Valencia. The club is playing at the moment in the “Primera Division” (first division) and they are currently on the third position in this competition. The logo/symbol of FC Valencia is an animal, namely a Bat. The bat is also the symbol of the city Valencia. The color of the football t-shirts is white and black when they play in Valencia. If they play outside Valencia, they wear blue/orange t-shirts.

History

In the year 1919, Octavio Augusto Milego Díaz established the football club FC Valencia. In the past there have been 2 Dutch coaches that have coached FC Valencia, namely: Guus Hiddink (1992) and Ronald Koeman (2007). Furthermore, there is a Dutch football player, named Maduro, currently playing with this football team. Unfortunately he doesn’t have a base place in FC Valencia, but he can regularly substitute.

They are working on a new stadium, but the building got some delay. The new stadium is called “Nou Mestalla” and it will have 73.000 seats.
